When Bill Mullinix arrived in New Orleans in 1987, the Louisiana sun sent him in search of a good baseball cap. When he couldn’t find one, he made his own. Armed with a stack of custom NOLA caps, Bill went door to door selling to local souvenir shops. More than 30 years later, his hats remain a staple on shelves across New Orleans.
Today, Sun Products is owned and operated by Bill’s daughter, Lindsay Mullinix, who continues his legacy by ensuring visitors can always find a quality cap.
